I am so glad you are here! Whether you are getting married, having a baby, graduating from high school, or just trying to document your family I am here for it. I am truly humbled by each session because I get to document your most special station in life! It is such an honor and I take it very seriously. My goal is for you to receive these images and be taken straight back to that moment because the images represent you in such an authentic way your future posterity will not have to guess about who you are or what this time meant for you.

I started this journey because I found photos to be a communication barrier between different cultures that had a profound impact on our worlds’ ability to love one another. In my 20’s I lived in Russia, Ukraine, China, and have traveled to many more places that are so vastly different to what I grew up in. I used photos to attempt to grasp my experiences. I used photos to tell other peoples stories. I used photos to tell my story as I went after life and all that it had to offer. These are my most treasured keepsakes from that time in my life. They are not from a fancy camera but that was never the point.

Then I became a wife and a mother. This just solidified the value I place on images because I felt like if I blinked my babies would shape shift and I missed it. So I obsessively photograhed the angels that call me mother and this is where I realized I loved offering this invaluable thing to all my friends and family. So long story short I have found myself so honored to be that person for YOU. I want you to look back and be able to see those baby feet, the way your SO looks at you, how you were feeling at the end of your childhood, how your family truly looks when you are all snuggled on a blanket.

These are the moments you live for. Why not have them forever? This is the legacy I want you to provide for your future generations to come. Watching my kids and family members flip pages of an album is so fulfilling because I know that they are learning and will hold on to where they come from forever. This is not a posed portrait where everyone is looking and smiling at the camera. This IS laughing, snuggling, crying, and ultimately the actual connection you cherish. AND THAT is the greatest gift one can give to their most cherished relationships.
